Architectural Part 2 Assistant

An opportunity unlike any other!

We are looking for a talented, proactive go-getter, a person who cares about people, spaces and the planet. Fundamentally, a person who sees value in ethics, morals, and great designs to help others’ wellbeing. You will be an integral part of the team during this growth stage.

Full-time position with flexible working in Birmingham.

A bit about us

Our vision is to create spaces that enhance people’s lives with sustainable design for better living, wellbeing, health and happiness, all backed by scientific evidence and research.  We need someone who believes in our mission to join our practice in Birmingham.

We are a start-up husband and wife business born out of lock down, who have flourished in the difficult circumstances of the pandemic to the point where we need someone to help us grow.

We work on various projects from residential to commercial. Our lead architect has over 15years of multi-sector experience whilst also being WELL AP qualified.

In joining our team, you will get to experience everything there is to offer in an architect firm. As a key member of the team, we desire someone with the right attitude and aptitude. Our future ambitions are to work on design-led homes, care homes, hospices, schools, primary care sector and other projects where we can make a real difference, considering wellbeing and sustainability in design. We feel that there is an invaluable place for people to benefit from wellbeing in design.

You

We need someone with potential, someone who can take on responsibility, be pro-active and work independently, someone who loves a dynamic and vibrant start-up environment. Although very challenging, the role will offer an exciting experience something that no-one else can offer i.e. an opportunity to experience all aspects of architectural work while helping to shape the company and be a key personal.

The role will be hybrid working in the Midlands, with frequent site visits and client meetings, hence the candidate must be based in the Birmingham or Midlands area. As a company we are based at  STEAMHouse a new collaborative space with access to 3D printing, VR, support network and much more. We would require the candidate to frequently attend the office for meetings and design reviews. There is opportunity for flexible working. You will often work autonomously however with support from the directors/owner you can tap into years of experience.

Why?

We differentiate ourselves by being an innovative architect firm. Our vision is having a practice where it’s fun to work, idea’s and innovation flow and all members are part of an integrated team.  One of our co-founder directors is not an architect but has skills in innovation, marketing and business, which are used to push out-of-the-box thinking and using various experiences from other industries. Hence, everyone we speak to loves our business model and approach.

This is a fabulous opportunity for the right person whose future career potential will not be limited, and if they have the right growth-mindset to aim high and push boundaries you will have a great future ahead of you.
